While Hook & Catch will go down as a solo project, there are a great deal of people who helped make it possible. I'd like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the following people:
- All of my interviewees: each of them took time out of their extremely busy schedules to talk to me. This project wouldn't have gotten anywhere without them volunteering their time, whether it was over the phone or after a show.
- Robyn Goding (Beyond Gorilla), Oli Sandler (Ringside Perspective), and Rob Brazier (The Head Drop) who all very graciously allowed me to use some of their photos. Britwres is so, so lucky to have these amazing photographers to capture our passion in such remarkable fashion.
- My supervisor, Dr. David Dunkley Gyimah.
- My friends in the council, who I relied on every step of the way.
Last, but most importantly, all of the credit should go to the wrestlers who drive up and down this country day after day and put their bodies on the line for our entertainment. While this project was created to investigate the different factors that have contributed to the success of Britwres, there is no doubt in my mind that it is the performers themselves that make this scene special.
